Lincoln Voices for YES

Kristen Ferris

We are voting YES to vote with our values of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. This is a critical opportunity to move towards more inclusive zoning, and ultimately a wider variety of housing options and a more diverse community. We also believe Lincoln as a community has an urgent obligation to contribute to addressing the regional housing crisis in MA.

Bob Kupperstein

I support the voter-selected Plan C approach to the HCA because I believe it will lead to a more dynamic and thriving village center with a healthier mix of residential and retail in close proximity. This plan will also help make housing in Lincoln, and the wider region, more affordable by increasing supply in an area where there are multiple transportation options. Finally, this plan will demonstrate our commitment to the maintenance and improvement of our critical commuter rail asset.

Rebecca Blanchfield

We are voting YES because we believe that Lincoln must do our part in solving the housing crisis—and that rezoning the mall presents the best opportunity to create a vibrant, welcoming center for our town. We don’t believe a plan that primarily rezones parcels with a low likelihood of development adequately addresses Lincoln’s history of exclusionary zoning policies.

David Onigman

We are voting Yes because we think the housing crisis needs to be addressed. We believe denser housing near commercial centers and accessible public transportation is needed for the planet.

We are voting Yes because we trust our publicly elected officials to continue to do what’s best for our town, for the Commonwealth, and for the Earth.

We are voting Yes to make Lincoln a more inclusive town.

Chris McCarthy

I’m voting Yes! because we have the chance to create a variety of housing choices in town. I love living walking distance to the Mall and T stop, and hope more folks get to enjoy everything that Lincoln has to offer.
